Focus on heavy equipment
A German enterprise waste treatment center needs to process 200 tons of food waste (water content 70%-80%) every day. The original method of drying by electric heating is:
1. Excessive energy consumption: the electricity consumption per ton of waste treatment is 380kWh, accounting for 45% of the cost
2. Odor diffusion: direct exhaust hot air contains VOCs (measured acetaldehyde concentration > 50mg/m³)
3. Equipment corrosion: garbage leachate (pH=4.2) caused the stainless steel heat exchanger to be perforated for 6 months.
After communication between Jiutian Machinery’s technical consultant and the case site, it was finally decided to use clean heat exchanger drying instead of electric heating drying.
1. Zero external energy dependence: 100% of the biogas produced by garbage is used for heating
2. Odor control: hot air is circulated in a closed manner throughout the process, and the tail gas is treated by RTO (regenerative thermal incineration), with a VOCs removal rate of >99%
3. Anti-corrosion design: heat exchange tubes are platinum-coated (leachate corrosion resistance life >8 years), and the drainage system uses ceramic valve groups
The German case site solved the three major problems of high energy consumption, high corrosion and high pollution in the drying of food waste through the combination of "clean heating + anti-corrosion heat exchange + thermal energy closed loop" technology.
