Focus on heavy equipment
Fujian case site needs to dry wet quartz sand (water content 8%-12%) to ≤0.5% for glass manufacturing. The original coal-fired direct heating drying method has three problems: 1. Material pollution 2. Excessive energy consumption 3. Equipment loss.
After receiving the doubts of this customer, Jiutian Machinery discussed this issue and concluded that replacing the coal-fired direct heating furnace with a clean heat exchanger can effectively solve the pollution and excessive energy consumption problems.
1. Physical isolation technology
The combustion flue gas is completely separated from the process hot air to avoid material pollution (such as coal ash mixed with sand, benzopyrene contaminating distiller's grains). Key indicators: hot air dust content <5mg/m³ (reaching ISO Class 8 cleanliness level).
2. Accurate temperature control
Quartz sand drying: 300℃ dehydration + 200℃ fine drying, avoiding 573℃ crystal transformation, temperature fluctuation ±3℃ (PID algorithm adjustment), 5 times more accurate than traditional systems.
3. High efficiency and energy saving
Adopting a multi-stage heat exchange system, the thermal efficiency reaches 85%-91%; using waste heat recovery equipment, the exhaust temperature is ≤110℃, saving 15%-20%; low nitrogen combustion technology, no denitrification equipment, and emission reduction costs are reduced by 70%.
This case in Fujian demonstrates the technical advantages of clean hot air furnaces in the field of sand drying, has achieved significant economic and environmental benefits, and provided an efficient and environmentally friendly heat source solution for the sand drying industry.
