Focus on heavy equipment
A biotechnology company in Yichang, Hubei, produces 50,000 tons of distiller's grains annually. The original coal-fired boiler used for heating had high energy consumption and pollution problems. In 2024, the company invested in the construction of a new distiller's grains drying production line, and selected our chain furnace as the core heat source equipment, and equipped it with a 3-layer drum dryer to form a complete processing system. The solution includes the following highlights:
1. Efficient combustion design
The stepped scale grate structure is adopted to achieve mixed combustion of distiller's grains residue and biomass particles (calorific value ≥ 3500kcal/kg), with a combustion efficiency of more than 92%, which saves 30% energy compared with traditional coal-fired methods.
2. Intelligent temperature control system
Equipped with a PID variable frequency adjustment device, the hot air temperature is stably controlled in the range of 280±5℃, meeting the process requirements of drying distiller's grains moisture from 65% to 12%, and the daily processing capacity reaches 120 tons.
3. Environmental protection compliance
According to third-party testing, flue gas particulate matter ≤20mg/m³, SO₂≤50mg/m³, in line with the "Boiler Air Pollutant Emission Standard" (GB13271-2014).
4. Operational results
1. Annual savings of 1,800 tons of standard coal and reduction of CO₂ by about 4,700 tons
2. Drying cost reduced from 98 yuan/ton to 62 yuan/ton
3. Wine lees finished products are sold as feed raw materials to achieve value-added sales, with annual revenue exceeding 5 million yuan
The project has become a demonstration case for the resource utilization of agricultural waste in Yichang City. The equipment has been running continuously for one and a half months without major repairs, and customer satisfaction is very high.
