Focus on heavy equipment
A new energy material enterprise in Hunan uses the oil-fired hot air furnace combination system developed by our company as the heat source equipment for the lithium slag drum dryer, the system adopts a modular design, and the power of the burner can be intelligently adjusted (50-1000kW). With the patented cyclone combustion furnace structure, the thermal efficiency reaches more than 90%. Operation data shows that the system can process 15 tons of lithium slag with a moisture content of 35% per hour. After drying, the moisture content of the material is stabilized below 8%, which fully meets the requirements for lithium battery raw material recovery.
The oil-fired hot air furnace uses diesel or heavy oil as fuel, burns to produce high-temperature flue gas, and heats the air through a heat exchanger to form high-temperature hot air (usually up to 300°C or above), providing a stable heat source for the lithium slag dryer. In view of the high viscosity and easy agglomeration of lithium slag, the oil-fired hot air furnace can work in conjunction with the rotary drum dryer. The high-temperature hot air is introduced into different areas of the drum (material guide area, cleaning area, and material lifting area) in sections to achieve uniform drying of the material and prevent sticking to the wall.
Core advantages
1. High calorific value fuel: Diesel/heavy oil has a high calorific value, and the drying efficiency is significant under unit energy consumption, shortening the processing cycle.
2. Cost controllable: In areas without natural gas pipelines or high electricity costs, the oil-fired solution is more economical than electric heating and more environmentally friendly than coal; fuel costs account for more than 70% of the total drying cost during operation, and fuel can reduce unit consumption by optimizing combustion control.
3. Precise temperature control: The automated control system can adjust the combustion volume and air volume in real time to meet the temperature gradient requirements of different drying stages of lithium slag (such as high temperature dehydration in the early stage and low temperature to prevent overheating in the later stage).
4. Strong adaptability: Not restricted by power grids or gas pipelines, suitable for remote mining areas or unstable power supply scenarios.
In summary, the oil-fired hot air furnace has become an efficient solution for lithium slag drying with its high thermal efficiency, operational flexibility and strong adaptability, especially in areas with insufficient energy infrastructure.
