Russian Brewery Group produces 30,000 tons of brewer's grain feed annually. The original natural gas hot air furnace had high operating costs and large carbon emissions. By introducing a 15MW biomass hot air furnace system and supporting airflow drying equipment, waste energy utilization and production cost reduction and efficiency improvement can be achieved.
Advantages of biomass hot air furnace
1. Economic and environmental protection
Using brewer's grain screening (30%) mixed with wood chips (70%) as fuel, it saves 52% of energy costs compared with natural gas, reduces CO₂ emissions by about 12,000 tons per year, and reduces carbon footprint by 68%.
2. Precise temperature control
High temperature zone (650±10℃) for rapid sterilization, low temperature zone (105±3℃) for protein retention, and feed crude protein loss rate is reduced from 12% to less than 5%.
3. Intelligent cleaning
Vibration screening and impurity removal device, spiral slag discharge mechanism, online cleaning cycle extended to 72h.
